Meet your Therapist
“You're braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”
A.A. Milne
I have always been passionate about helping people and working with children. I have realized this dream by becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Certified Perinatal Mental Health specialist, and Certified Play Therapist. While I thoroughly enjoy working with children and teens, I also find myself drawn to working with young adults and new mothers. Creating my own private practice has blessed me with a variety of clientele.
I was born and raised in Southern California and couldn’t imagine attending college elsewhere. I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Social Behavior at the University of California-Irvine. I then studied at Azusa Pacific University, graduating with my Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychology with a dual emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy as well as Professional Clinical Counseling. I attended University of California-San Diego’s Play Therapy program and obtained my Certification in Play Therapy to hone my skills in working with children.
I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) since 2017, Certified Perinatal Mental Heath Therapist (PMH-C) since 2024, and a former Registered Play Therapist (RPT) 2019-2022. I have worked with children, families and individuals in a clinical setting since 2014. I am registered with the State of California Board of Behavioral Sciences (license number MFT101251). I am currently expanding my practice to working with women who are trying to conceive, are pregnant, or adjusting to family life with young children/high needs children.
If I am not seeing clients, I am most likely at Disneyland, the San Diego Zoo, or the beach with my husband, son, and daughter. There is nothing I love more than being a mom and spending time with my family!
